Northern Trust (Nasdaq: NTRS), a leading provider of financial services for affluent individuals, families and institutions, announced today that Norman Greenidge has been named National Director of the Professional Athlete Group. Greenidge will be responsible for meeting the unique wealth management needs of professional athletes through Northern Trust's core services of financial planning, investment management, trust and estate planning and private banking. He reports to Michele Havens, Los Angeles Region President.

"Norm has an established track record of successfully working with some our largest and most complex client relationships, and given this experience, was a natural choice to lead our Professional Athlete practice."
Greenidge has more than 30 years of financial services experience and has worked extensively with affluent families, implementing customized wealth management strategies. He joined Northern Trust in 1996 and most recently served as a Managing Director in Los Angeles, leading a team of professionals responsible for providing clients with wealth management, banking and trust services.
Prior to Northern Trust, Greenidge spent 15 years with Chase Manhattan Bank., where he served as a relationship manager in a variety of capacities including Personal Financial Services in Los Angeles, Real Estate Construction Finance in San Francisco and International Commercial Lending in the U.S. Virgin Islands. He also served as an auditor for worldwide operations, with assignments in more than a dozen countries.
Greenidge earned his bachelor's degree in marketing from Howard University in Washington, D.C. He has FINRA Series 7 & 66 licenses and is a registered representative of Northern Trust Global Investments. He is a member of 100 Black Men of Los Angeles and serves on the board of directors of the UCLA Longevity Center, a non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing and extending productive and healthy lives through research and education.
