Carrie O’Donnell is an Alternative Investment Analyst at Northern Trust.  Prior to re-joining Northern Trust in 2014, Carrie worked as a Senior Operations Analyst at Balter Capital Management, a hedge fund consulting firm in Boston.  At Balter, her primary responsibilities were supporting the managing partners with the operations of the firm.  This included assisting clients with their hedge fund investments, monitoring the subscriptions and redemptions of all investments, working closely with the research team on new hedge fund investments, the operational due diligence of the firms hedge funds and assisting with the marketing of the funds.  In 2013, Carrie assisted in the launch of the firm’s first alternative mutual fund.  She began her investment career as an analyst within Northern Trust’s operations group.  Carrie received her Bachelors of Science in International Business from The College of Charleston in South Carolina.
