Effective Investment Approach
Using fundamental research, we identify high quality companies that are temporarily undervalued or out of favor. We think like business owners, holding onto companies until the market realizes their intrinsic value.
Screening for the Best
We begin the investment process by narrowing our investment universe to approximately 200-250 names by screening for market cap, liquidity and dividend yield. Then we organize the remaining companies by sector and industry, highlighting new additions to the universe. We also focus on particular sectors we feel provide the greatest margin of safety, based on our proprietary valuation methodologies that seek to uncover intrinsic value over a three to five year holding period.
Style Consistency
Style consistency is a crucial part of an asset allocation program that helps prevent unintended and unnecessary risks in a client's total portfolio. We have historically remained consistent to our investment style in all market conditions.
