, sponsored and managed by Northern Trust, has introduced a new FlexShares ETF that provides global equity exposure to companies that have infrastructure ownership. The new Fund offers investors a defensive exposure with a low historical correlation to global equities, and income generation benefits of infrastructure securities. A bottom-up approach is employed to identify companies with infrastructure ownership across multiple geographies and infrastructure super-sectors. Traditional utility, energy and transportation supersectors are included, plus an additional two - communications (including cell towers and data centers) and government outsourcing/social infrastructures.
