Michelle Long is a Senior Financial Consultant and Vice President at The Northern Trust Company. Her financial planning practice focuses on business owners, corporate executives and generational wealth. She advises clients on all the major facets of financial planning, including retirement planning, portfolio design, cash flow analysis, estate planning, and risk management. Michelle has developed her expertise over her sixteen years in the industry. Prior to joining Northern Trust, Michelle was a Wealth Planner at Fifth Third Bank and was responsible for providing comprehensive financial planning services to the affluent clients in the Chicago metro area. Michelle’s prior professional experience also includes advising private wealth clients at William Blair & Company and Arthur Andersen.
Michelle received her B.S. degree at Northwestern University and is a Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®). She served on the board of the American Brain Tumor Association (2003-2006). She is currently a member of the Financial Planning Association, Chicago Estate Planning Council and Northern Trust Asian Leadership Business Resource Council.
