John Krieg, CFA, CAIA, is Managing Director of Northern Trust Asset Management, EMEA. John is responsible for the development and implementation of the overall vision and strategy of the EMEA investment business whilst leading the regional business development and client service teams.

Prior to this role, John was Director of Global Product Management and Development where he was responsible for investment product management across Northern Trust Asset Management’s fixed income, equity and manager of managers investment product lines. His responsibilities included product development, innovation, pricing and delivery.

Prior to joining Northern Trust in 2002, John was Director of Relationship Management and the Fixed Income Product Manager for TimesSquare Capital Management in New York. John managed client relationships and served as a product specialist. Previously, he was with Credit Suisse Asset Management and BEA Associates where he was Vice President, Head of Fixed Income Relationship Management and a member of the insurance investment management sales team. John began his career with Hewitt Associates and Towers Perrin.

John holds an MBA from DePaul University, Charles H. Kellstadt Graduate School of Business and a B.S. in finance from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana. He is a CFA® charterholder and holds FINRA Series 7 and 63 registrations. John is a member of the CFA Society of the UK and, the New York Society of Security Analysis. He is also a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst.

Madeleine Senior is Head of Business Development for Northern Trust’s asset servicing business in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). In this role, she is responsible for leading business development teams across EMEA and is focused on developing innovative servicing solutions for new and existing clients.

Since joining Northern Trust in 1994, Madeleine has held a range of executive management roles in London, Chicago and Stockholm. Prior to relocating to London in early 2012, Madeleine was based in Stockholm where as the Managing Director of our Nordic business she led Northern Trust’s development in the region, which included overseeing the opening of the Stockholm branch office in 2009.

She has also worked as a Senior Relationship Manager within our Global Fund Services and Institutional Investor groups - looking after European asset managers, in-house managed clients, and European wealth clients. From 1997 to 2000, Madeleine was based in the Chicago office working with the North American Investment Manager Liaison group, managing a number of key fund manager relationships.

Prior to joining Northern Trust, Madeleine spent two years in Australia, where she worked for Bankers Trust Sydney. Before working in the investment industry, she was a high school teacher.

Madeleine received her B. Ed degree with honours in English from Westminster College Oxford and her Investment Management Certificate.

Daniel Lindley is Managing Director of the Global Family & Private Investment Offices Group, EMEA & APAC. Dan also serves as the Chief Fiduciary Officer for Northern Trust’s international private client business, which is legally sitused through trust affiliates in the Bailiwick of Guernsey and the Cayman Islands.

Dan spent 25 years in private law practice in Delaware, beginning his career in 1975 with Potter Anderson & Corroon and later as an equity partner in the Delaware offices of Duane Morris LLP and Reed Smith LLP. During that time, he assisted institutional clients with fiduciary product development and fiduciary litigation, as well as the enactment of Delaware legislation dealing with fiduciary law. In that role, he was the principal author in 1997 of the Qualified Dispositions in Trust Act, Delaware's asset protection trust statute, and the 1995 legislation repealing Delaware's Rule against Perpetuities.

Prior to joining Northern Trust in 2005, Dan was Managing Director and Trust Counsel at U.S. Trust Company of Delaware. During his four years at U.S. Trust, Dan was responsible for, among other things, the national development of U.S. Trust's Delaware trust business.

Dan holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Virginia School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude, from Williams College. Admitted to the bars of the Supreme Court of the State of Delaware and the United States Supreme Court, Dan is a member of the Asset Protection Planning Committee of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of the American Bar Association. He is also a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and the Estates and Trusts Section of the Delaware State Bar Association.
