Sheldon W. Woldt is a Senior Vice President at The Northern Trust Company and its Head of the Middle East. In this role he is responsible for leading Northern Trust’s continued growth in the region, working with regional management and drawing on its asset servicing, asset management and wealth management expertise to achieve this. Sheldon also works with sales and relationship managers to support their focus on client satisfaction, risk management and on bringing new ideas to clients.

Sheldon brings a wide variety of experience to his role including banking operations management, financial analysis instructor, and as relationship manager in commercial lending, treasury management, investment management and global custody. He has worked with a wide variety of entities including large corporations in various industries, insurance companies, sovereign wealth funds, and investment managers.  Prior to relocating to the Middle East, Sheldon managed a team of relationship managers serving large corporations and before that he managed the Global Fund Services Practice, servicing investment managers around the world and their commingled fund products.

Woldt holds a B.S. degree in Economics from the University of Wisconsin at Madison, an M.M. degree in Finance and Marketing from the J. L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University, is a Certified Cash Manager and a CFA charterholder.

Woldt is a member of the Chicago Council on Global Affairs and a member of the Board of Directors for the Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestra. He is a past member of the Board of Directors of the Suzuki-Orff School for Young Musicians.

 As Chairman and Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer of Northern Trust Asset Management, EMEA and APAC, Wayne is responsible for the continued growth and development of Northern Trust's investment business in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific. Wayne also serves as Chief Investment Officer of international markets, as a Director of Japan, K.K. and is a member of the corporation's European Management Committee, which oversees all Northern Trust businesses in the EMEA region.

Before joining Northern Trust in 1999 as Director of Global Fixed Income, Wayne worked for ABN AMRO Bank and Hambros Bank, where he managed multi-instrument trading books and used foreign exchange and interest rate derivative markets to extract relative value opportunities.  He has more than 20 years of experience as a portfolio manager, proprietary trader and market maker within multi-instrument, multi-currency environments.

Daniel Lindley is Managing Director of the Global Family & Private Investment Offices Group, EMEA & APAC. Dan also serves as the Chief Fiduciary Officer for Northern Trust’s international private client business, which is legally sitused through trust affiliates in the Bailiwick of Guernsey and the Cayman Islands.

Dan spent 25 years in private law practice in Delaware, beginning his career in 1975 with Potter Anderson & Corroon and later as an equity partner in the Delaware offices of Duane Morris LLP and Reed Smith LLP. During that time, he assisted institutional clients with fiduciary product development and fiduciary litigation, as well as the enactment of Delaware legislation dealing with fiduciary law. In that role, he was the principal author in 1997 of the Qualified Dispositions in Trust Act, Delaware's asset protection trust statute, and the 1995 legislation repealing Delaware's Rule against Perpetuities.

Prior to joining Northern Trust in 2005, Dan was Managing Director and Trust Counsel at U.S. Trust Company of Delaware. During his four years at U.S. Trust, Dan was responsible for, among other things, the national development of U.S. Trust's Delaware trust business.

Dan holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Virginia School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude, from Williams College. Admitted to the bars of the Supreme Court of the State of Delaware and the United States Supreme Court, Dan is a member of the Asset Protection Planning Committee of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of the American Bar Association. He is also a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and the Estates and Trusts Section of the Delaware State Bar Association.
