John D. Fumagalli
John D. Fumagalli
Prior to his current role, Fumagalli served as President and Chief Executive Officer for the Southwest Florida region, as well as regional head of West Florida, with responsibility for all banking, trust and investment activities for the west coast of Florida.
John joined Northern Trust in Chicago as a Second Vice President in 1989. He was named a Vice President in 1992 and a Senior Vice President in 1999. While in Chicago, he served as the Managing Director of Northern’s Oak Street Financial Center and was responsible for the Northwestern Memorial Financial Center. In 2001 he was appointed President and CEO of the Saint Louis Financial Center. In 2005, John assumed responsibility for the Southwest Florida Region. In 2011, John was appointed Regional President of West Florida, directly responsible for all activities on the west coast of Florida.
Bringing over 25 years of experience in commercial and private banking, John received a B.A. degree in Economics in 1983 from The College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts, and a Masters degree in Business Administration in 1997 from the J.L. Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
John serves on the Foundation Boards for Naples Community Hospital and Florida Gulf Coast University, the Advisory Board for Catholic Charities, and the Saint Ann Parish Finance Council. He is on the Board of Directors of the Community Foundation of Collier County, the Conservancy of SW Florida, the Naples Botanical Garden, the Forum Club and the Council of Advisors of Searching For Solutions, Inc.

R. Michael Strickland
R. Michael Strickland is a Senior Vice President at the Managing Director of the Palm Beach, Florida office at Northern Trust.
Prior to joining Northern Trust in 2007, he was the Managing Director and Division President at U.S. Trust. From 2002 to 2004, he was the Vice Chairman at Sun Trust Bank of South Florida. From 1999 to 2002, he was the Chief Banking/ Operating Officer of Republic Security Bank. From 1998 to 1999, he was the Market President at NationalBank. From 1985 to 1998 he was the Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Barnett Bank of Palm Beach County, which was sold to Bank of America. He began his career in 1973 at Barnett Bank of Central Florida.
Michael received a B.A.,M.B.A. and Doctor of Laws degree from Rollins College. He is a graduate of the Stonier Graduate School of Banking at Rutgers University as well as the Program of Management Development at Harvard Business School.
Michael is a Trustee at Rollins College, The Elizabeth Morse Genius Foundation, Inc., and Marshall and Vera Lee Rinker Foundation. He is the Chairman of the 1st Capital Campaign at Rollins College, a consultant to the Marshall E. Rinker Sr. Foundation, Director of the Palm Beach Country Black Business Investment Corporation.
