John D. Fumagalli is Chairman and CEO of the Florida Region of Northern Trust. In this position he has responsibility for managing the company’s investment management, trust and estate planning, private and business banking and financial consulting business in Florida.

Prior to his current role, Fumagalli served as President and Chief Executive Officer for the Southwest Florida region, as well as regional head of West Florida, with responsibility for all banking, trust and investment activities for the west coast of Florida.

John joined Northern Trust in Chicago as a Second Vice President in 1989. He was named a Vice President in 1992 and a Senior Vice President in 1999. While in Chicago, he served as the Managing Director of Northern’s Oak Street Financial Center and was responsible for the Northwestern Memorial Financial Center. In 2001 he was appointed President and CEO of the Saint Louis Financial Center. In 2005, John assumed responsibility for the Southwest Florida Region. In 2011, John was appointed Regional President of West Florida, directly responsible for all activities on the west coast of Florida.

Bringing over 25 years of experience in commercial and private banking, John received a B.A. degree in Economics in 1983 from The College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts, and a Masters degree in Business Administration in 1997 from the J.L. Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

John serves on the Foundation Boards for Naples Community Hospital and Florida Gulf Coast University, the Advisory Board for Catholic Charities, and the Saint Ann Parish Finance Council. He is on the Board of Directors of the Community Foundation of Collier County, the Conservancy of SW Florida, the Naples Botanical Garden, the Forum Club and the Council of Advisors of Searching For Solutions, Inc.

Dan Honegger serves as the President of Northern Trust in Hillsborough County. He is also the Senior Lender for the Tampa Bay Region.

Dan joined Northern Trust in 1989 and was named Managing Executive of the Hillsborough County office in 2001. Most recently, Dan served as Senior Vice President and Senior Lending Officer for Northern in Palm Beach and Martin counties. Previously, he served as Vice President and Relationship Manager for Northern Trust’s Chicago office, where he began his banking career as a Financial Analyst.

Dan received his B.S. degree from Eastern Illinois University and his M.B.A. degree from Indiana University.

Dan is a member of The Salvation Army’s Tampa/Hillsborough Advisory Board, the University of South Florida’s Center for International Business Advisory Council, and is a board member of the Ronald McDonald House in Hillsborough County. He also serves on the board of the Tampa Museum of Art. He is a former board member of the Young Friends of Kravis Center, the RMA Association and the Community Financing Consortium.
