John D. Fumagalli
John D. Fumagalli
Prior to his current role, Fumagalli served as President and Chief Executive Officer for the Southwest Florida region, as well as regional head of West Florida, with responsibility for all banking, trust and investment activities for the west coast of Florida.
John joined Northern Trust in Chicago as a Second Vice President in 1989. He was named a Vice President in 1992 and a Senior Vice President in 1999. While in Chicago, he served as the Managing Director of Northern’s Oak Street Financial Center and was responsible for the Northwestern Memorial Financial Center. In 2001 he was appointed President and CEO of the Saint Louis Financial Center. In 2005, John assumed responsibility for the Southwest Florida Region. In 2011, John was appointed Regional President of West Florida, directly responsible for all activities on the west coast of Florida.
Bringing over 25 years of experience in commercial and private banking, John received a B.A. degree in Economics in 1983 from The College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts, and a Masters degree in Business Administration in 1997 from the J.L. Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
John serves on the Foundation Boards for Naples Community Hospital and Florida Gulf Coast University, the Advisory Board for Catholic Charities, and the Saint Ann Parish Finance Council. He is on the Board of Directors of the Community Foundation of Collier County, the Conservancy of SW Florida, the Naples Botanical Garden, the Forum Club and the Council of Advisors of Searching For Solutions, Inc.

Diane L. Muir
Diane L. Muir is Vice President and Managing Director of the Longboat Key office of Northern Trust. Her responsibilities at Longboat Key include overseeing trust administration, investment management services, banking and credit services.
Diane joined Northern Trust in 1982 as a Personal Financial Services Representative in the bank’s Financial Services Division. She was promoted to Second Vice President and Manager of the Financial Services Division in 1989. In 1992, Diane was promoted to Vice President and Bank Operations Manager, responsible for the Financial Services, Teller, and Safe Deposit Departments, as well as overall Bank Operations and General Services. In January 1999, Diane transferred to the Longboat Key office as Vice President and Trust New Business Officer and became the Managing Director in July 2000. She currently holds the series 7 and series 66 licenses in the area of general securities.
Diane is a 1989 graduate of The Florida School of Banking and a 2000 graduate of The Cannon Trust School. Diane serves on the Board of Directors for the Sarasota Ballet of Florida and the Longboat Key Center for the Arts Committee of Ringling College of Art & Design.
Diane and her husband, Jim, reside in Sarasota.
