What is a podcast?
A podcast is a digital file that can be downloaded from the Internet to a portable media player, such as an iPod or MP3 player. Podcasts are similar to radio shows, in that the content is usually audio, but they offer users the convenience of listening whenever and wherever they want during a commute, at the airport, or at the gym. Users can also choose to subscribe to a podcast, which means future episodes will automatically be downloaded to your iPod or MP3 player. Podcasts are a great way to listen to the latest insight and analysis from Northern Trust experts.
