David Rothon is a Senior Vice President at Northern Trust Global Investments and the Director of Cash & Fixed Income Product Management. He has over ten years of industry experience, having joined Northern Trust in 2004.

David was previously a Fund Manager in the Global Fixed Income team at Northern Trust and prior to that worked at PIMCO Europe Limited. David holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Financial Management with a diploma in Industrial Studies from Loughborough University.

He holds the Investment Management Certificate, Investment Administration Qualification Merit Award and is an Associate (ASIP) of the UK Society of Investment Professionals.

Fifi Ting is the Head of Sales and Client Service for Northern Trust Global Investments in the Asia Pacific region. She is based in Hong Kong and has over 10 years of experience in the investment management industry.

She is responsible for new business development and client relations in the Asia Pacific ex-Japan region for Northern Trust's asset management business. Prior to her current role, she was the Regional Head of Client Relations at AIG Investments in Hong Kong, responsible for client relations in the Asia Pacific ex-Japan and Middle East regions. Before that, Ms. Ting was responsible for institutional business development at ABN AMRO Asset Management. At HSBC Asset Management, where Ms. Ting started her career in the investment management industry, she gained extensive experience and knowledge in fund distribution and product development.

Ms. Ting graduated with a Bachelors degree from the University of Toronto where she majored in Economics and Industrial Relations.

Senior Vice President - Head of International Sales & Servicing

Sunil Daswani is a Vice President at The Northern Trust Company's London Office. He is the Director and Regional Manager for Securities Lending (Asia), at Northern Trust Global Investments. His primary responsibility revolves around addressing and evaluating securities lending initiatives for lenders and borrowers where Northern Trust acts as an agent lender. Mr. Daswani additionally focuses on building the supply of Asian assets for Northern Trust's global securities lending program, ensuring that the due diligence is carried out when lending its clients assets in each jurisdiction.

Further, he is responsible for maintaining updated market information and knowledge through relationships with regional contacts that may influence or shape the markets in which Northern Trust lends securities.

He has twelve years of experience in the securities industry, of which the last four have been at Northern Trust. He previously spent seven years at Citigroup as a Global Custody product manager developing many products, including their web-based automated custody FX product, cash pooling products, and implementing a treasury middle office unit. Prior to this position, he spent some time in the treasury operations area at UBS.

In May 2005, Mr. Daswani accepted the position of Chairman for the Pan Asian Securities Lending Association (PASLA) for one year. He was re-elected in 2006 for a further year. In this role he ensures that the fellow members are kept updated on key industry events, coordinating as an industry, where necessary, responses to various international regulatory bodies on topical issues, discussion papers and general market issues.

Mr. Daswani has a B.Sc. (Economics) with Honours from the London School of Economics, University of London, where he majored in Accounting & Finance.

Rohan Singh is a Senior Vice President of The Northern Trust Company and head of sales for the asset servicing business in the Asia Pacific.

Based in Singapore, he comes to Northern Trust with more than 14 years of securities services experience. Before joining Northern Trust, Rohan was head of South Asia sales with Citigroup. Prior to that Rohan served in various business management and sales roles in Singapore, Australia and London, all with an Asia Pacific focus.

Rohan holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of New South Wales Wollongong.

Prior to joining Northern Trust, he was President an Chief Operating Officer of internet broker Wingspan Investment Services, Inc., a Bank One company. Prior to its merger with Bank One, Mr. Ransford served as First Chicago NBD's chief technology officer for its retail investment subsidiaries First Chicago NBD Investment Services and Roney & Co. He has developed several leading brokerage web sites including Wingspan, Bank One's OneInvest and its predecessor First Chicago NBD Online Brokerage.

Ransford has spent his 29-year career in the brokerage industry. Prior to joining Northern Trust in 2000, he held various management positions with Bank One, Fidelity Investments and Prudential Securities.

Global Head of IRAS

Jim Trotter has worked in the performance and risk industry for over 20 years and joined Northern Trust in February 2005 to head up the Investment Risk and Analytical Services team in London, looking after Northern's EMEA custody and outsourced client base taking performance measurement, market risk and compliance monitoring services. Jim was promoted to Global Deputy Head in June 2007 and to Global Head in early 2009.

Prior to joining, Jim worked for Investit for two years- a specialist consultancy firm, who work exclusively with the investment management industry. At Investit, Jim was the author of research papers in 2004 on the outsourcing of performance measurement capabilities from asset managers to third party sources and also produced a number of leading Performance Measurement & Risk surveys.

From 1998 to 2003 Jim worked at Merrill Lynch Investment Managers (MLIM) in London, ending his tenure there as the head of the performance and portfolio analysis team from 2000 onwards. Prior to joining MLIM, Jim worked for over ten years as a Client Manager for the WM Company in Edinburgh, looking after client relations with Investment Manager and Pension Trustee clients of WM. Jim was also an IMA representative on the NAPF UK Investment Performance Committee (UKIPC) for Performance Standards and a member of the IMA Investment Performance Working Group until early 2003.

Michael Tan manages the foreign exchange operations and balance sheets of The Northern Trust Company in the Asia-Pacific region and ensures compliance in trading activities within guidelines and policies as provided for by Singapore and U.S. regulators. The Singapore dealing room provides foreign exchange and money market services for investment managers and custody clients and is an active participant in inter-bank foreign exchange and money market trading activities.

Under Michael’s leadership in the past 11 years, Northern Trust’s Singapore Global FX team has become recognized as the leading FX services provider for Asia-Pacific investment managers and custody clients as polled by leading publications such as AsiaMoney and Global Investor. In the same time, the Singapore Branch balance-sheet has also grown significantly.

Michael is a member of the Bank’s APAC leadership team, a non-voting member of ABOC and a member of the Singapore Executive Committee / Incident Command Team for BCP (Business Continuity Plan).

Prior to joining Northern Trust, Michael was Assistant Treasurer at Commerzbank (1982-1990) and Treasurer at Banca Commerciale Italiana (1990-1996) in Singapore. He began his banking career in 1979 with Citibank's Singapore Treasury and has to-date, 28 years of trading experience in the financial markets.
