Robert J. Baillie

President and CEO

Robert J. Baillie is President and CEO of Northern Trust, Canada and Chairman, President, and CEO of NT Global Advisors, Inc. In this role, he has overall responsibility for the operations and strategic direction of Northern Trust’s asset servicing and asset management businesses in Canada.

Prior to joining Northern Trust, Mr. Baillie spent 12 years with The Royal Bank of Canada in several senior management positions. He began his career with a global leader in the Information Technology field where he held various leadership roles.

Mr. Baillie is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario. He is involved with various industry associations, advisory boards and is actively engaged with Sick Children’s Hospital Foundation "Leaders Program" in Toronto.
