What is RSS?
RSS stands for "Really Simple Syndication." It’s a way for Northern Trust to send updated economic research, commentary and anaylsis as well as podcasts relative to the financial market. Subscribing to RSS feeds gives you the ability to pull new information from a variety of different websites into one location.

How do I begin using RSS feeds?
You will need something called a news reader or aggregator. These are dedicated programs that allow you to read RSS files. News readers check the feeds you have subscribed to and provide you with any updated RSS content. There are many different versions of RSS readers. We've listed a few below for your reference:

How do I add an RSS feed to my reader?
Click the RSS button next to the information of interest (RSS feeds), highlight the URL that appears in the box and add it to your reader or aggregator of choice according to the instructions for that reader.
