Northern Trust Opens Washington D.C. Office
This October, Northern Trust will open an office steps away from
the White House on Connecticut Avenue. This office will serve
Northern Trust’s growing client base in the metropolitan
area, allowing clients local access to their advisors. The
metropolitan area serves as home to three of the wealthiest
counties in the United States, with no dominant player in the
wealth management space, which is the cornerstone of Northern
Trust’s business model. Serving as managing director, Joanie
Stringer will lead a team of more than 20 to support Northern
Trust’s clients in the region as well as source new business
opportunities while deepening the Northern Trust brand. Stringer
has been instrumental in opening key offices on the East Coast,
including New York, Boston, and Stamford, Conn.
