Northern Trust has a long-standing history of supporting underserved communities through philanthropic and civic initiatives. Developing teachers to increase the much-needed pipeline of licensed educators. Purchasing a hotel to transition it into affordable housing. Supporting vulnerable populations through work on food security, farm viability and ecological health. While charitable giving is core to our value proposition, Northern Trust supports these projects and more as champions of social impact investing that bolsters affordable housing, wealth creation, job creation, education and social services.
