Madeleine Senior (Maddy) is Managing Director, Country Head for The Northern Trust Company in Australia. Maddy oversees the overall business and strategic direction for asset servicing, asset management and capital markets solutions for sophisticated institutional, superfund and fund manager clients.

Maddy sits on a number of boards and associations within Australia including, but not limited to, ACSA (Australian Custodial Services Association) executive board, Women in Superfund association, Women in Leadership and Women in Banking and Finance Association.

Maddy joined Northern Trust in 1995 and has over 20 years industry experience working in London, Sweden and Chicago and has held a number of executive positions including her most recent role in London as the business development head for the EMEA region. In this role Maddy was responsible for business development, sales strategy, marketing initiatives and new product development across the asset owner, asset manager and hedge fund communities. Maddy managed teams based in various locations across EMEA. Maddy has also served on the boards of Northern Trust Luxembourg Management Company and Northern Trust International Fund Administration Services (Guernsey) Limited.

Prior to this role, Maddy was Managing Director for the Nordic region, responsible for the client franchise in Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark and leading up to that role Maddy lead client service and relationship teams supporting some of Northern Trust’s most significant client and investment manager relationships.

Maddy holds a Bachelor of Education (hons) from Oxford University and the Investment Management Certificate (IMC) from CFA Society of the UK.
