Michael J. Bracci serves as President of the South Region. He is responsible for leading the company’s wealth management business in the Southern United States, which includes 26 offices in Washington D.C., Georgia, Florida and Texas.

Prior to becoming President of the South Region, Michael served as President of the East Florida and Mid-Atlantic Regions. Previously, he served as the Regional Senior Banking Officer for the Palm Beach Martin Region, and as Managing Director of the North Palm Beach office.  He has over 35 years of experience in the banking and finance industry.  Having begun his career at a large Southeast commercial bank, he led a regional commercial banking team and held various other management positions before joining Northern Trust in 1993.

An active member of the Palm Beach community, Michael served as a member of the Board of Trustees for the Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts for 18 years and was elected Life Trustee in 2025.  Formerly, he was Chair of the Board of Trustees, Chair of the CEO Search Committee, Chair of Kravis Governance/Nominating Committee, and Chair of the Corporate Partners Committee.  He was a member of the Kravis Audit Committee for 14 years.  He is Vice Chairman of the Nicklaus Children’s Healthcare Foundation and is the current Chair of the Board’s Executive Committee.  Michael currently serves as Vice Chair of the Board of the Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties.  He is current chair of the Investment Committee, past Treasurer of the Board and past chair of the Finance Committee.  Formerly, he was a member of the Board at The Benjamin School in North Palm Beach serving as Treasurer and as Chair of the Governance Committee.  A former member of the Board of the Cultural Council of Palm Beach County, he held a number of leadership positions over a 12 year period including Treasurer, Governance Chair and President of the Board for 4 years.  He also served on the Board of the Literacy Coalition of Palm Beach County, and in addition to serving  as President of the Board he served as Treasurer and Chair of Governance/Nominating Committee.  In 2005 he was awarded Board Member of the Year.  He is a former member of the Board of Trustees of Town of Palm Beach United Way and served as Chair from 2010 to 2012.    He was awarded the Palm Beach Atlantic University Free Enterprise Day Medalist in 2011.
