Jennifer S. Gravenor

Jennifer has advised high net worth families and privately held business owners in developing comprehensive wealth plans including financial planning, investment strategies, estate planning, retirement and business succession planning. Prior to joining Northern Trust, Jennifer was a Vice President at J.P. Morgan where she lead the South Region’s business strategy for advising Corporate Executives and Retirees, supervising the management over $2 billion in assets for families across Texas. She has worked in-house for a large Family Office as an Investment Consultant, performing due diligence and execution roles. Jennifer also has experience working in Family Law and Trust litigation consulting for an international tax firm.
Jennifer earned her Master of Business Administration in Finance from the Jones Graduate School of Management at Rice University, her Master of Music in Flute Performance from the Shepherd School of Music at Rice University and her Bachelor of Music degree in Flute Performance from the University of Michigan.
She holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses.
Jennifer is married with one son. In her spare time, she enjoys running, hiking and exploring her community.
Jennifer Gravenor, CFA is President of Northern Trust’s wealth management business in Central Texas. In her role, Jennifer proactively leads a team of seasoned professionals that meet the financial and planning needs of high net worth clientele. The Central Texas business focuses on providing “high touch” investment management, fiduciary, private banking, and wealth consulting solutions to successful families. Jennifer also oversees Northern Trust’s advisory practice for nonprofit organizations and private foundations.
Jennifer values a commitment to community. Prior to her move to Austin, she most recently served on the boards of the Houston Ballet, Houston Symphony Society, Family Services of Greater Houston, and Hermann Park Conservancy. In 2019, Jennifer received the Houston Symphony’s Volunteer of the Year award. Jennifer is also actively involved with the Salvation Army and Women’s Finance Exchange.
