David W. Fox
David Fox is President of the Global Family & Private Investment Offices Group and a member of the Operating Group of The Northern Trust Company. Prior to this role, Dave was Executive Vice President and Head of the Americas, Corporate & Institutional Services, with responsibility for all Northern Trust’s institutional businesses in North & South America. Along with those duties, Dave was Chairman of the Northern Trust Company, Canada, Chairman of the Americas Business Oversight Committee, and the Americas Executive Management Committee.
David joined Northern Trust in 2012 after 25+ years at J.P. Morgan in New York and London, where he was Vice Chairman of Investment Banking, a member of the firm’s Investment Banking Management Committee, and CEO of Midwest Investment Banking. Dave’s prior experience at J.P. Morgan included roles as head of investment banking for various global industry sectors (transportation, shipping, industrials, chemicals and real estate). During his career he has advised clients on numerous M&A, restructuring and capital raising activities.
David holds a B.S.F.S. from Georgetown University and has an M.B.A. in Finance from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Business. He serves on the Board of the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago, and the Goodman Theatre.
