Marcus Fernandes is the Global Head of Currency Management at Northern Trust Banking & Markets’ Global Foreign Exchange (GFX) business. In this role he is focused on developing GFX’s suite of currency management solutions across the EMEA, US and APAC regions.

Marcus brings more than 20 years of industry experience in currency management. Before joining Northern Trust Banking & Markets, he worked as a Senior Portfolio Manager at Berenberg, Mesirow Financial and State Street Global Advisors running Active, Passive and Dynamic currency portfolios.

Marcus holds a Masters in Physics from Kings College London.
