Guy is co-president of Asset Servicing, and global head of Institutional Banking & Markets. 

As co-president of Asset Servicing, he provides global leadership, strategic direction and oversight across Northern Trust’s asset servicing franchise worldwide.  

As global head of Institutional Banking & Markets, Guy is responsible for a broad and complex portfolio spanning institutional banking, treasury management, corporate and institutional lending, and benefit payment services. His remit further includes the firm’s worldwide trading operations – covering equities, fixed income, foreign exchange, securities lending and financing, and repo trading. 

Guy is a member of Northern Trust’s Leadership Team and the Governance Oversight Committee, contributing to the organization’s enterprise-wide leadership and strategic governance. 

He joined Northern Trust in 2016 following the acquisition of Aviate Global LLP, a global brokerage boutique he co-founded in 2007. Earlier in his career, Guy held a series of senior trading and markets focused roles at Citibank, Salomon Brothers, and Credit Suisse First Boston, building extensive expertise across global markets, client advisory, and trading strategy. 

Guy holds a degree in international business management from Massey University in New Zealand.
