Clive is co-president of Asset Servicing and president for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) at Northern Trust. He provides global leadership, strategic direction and oversight across Northern Trust’s asset servicing franchise and leads EMEA’s business strategy, client engagement and regulatory affairs.

He is a member of Northern Trust’s Leadership Team and Governance Oversight Committee, contributing to global leadership and strategic direction.

Previously, Clive spent six years as head of Global Fund Services, EMEA, overseeing asset servicing solutions for global investment managers. He joined Northern Trust in 2011 as Ireland country head, playing a key role in integrating Northern Trust Securities Services (Ireland) Ltd. after acquiring Bank of Ireland Securities Services.

Clive has held senior leadership roles throughout his career, including managing director at J.P. Morgan, and earlier positions at Chase Manhattan Bank, Deutsche Bank and Barclays International.

He is a former president of Chambers Ireland, president of the Institute of Banking, and chairman of Basis Point Charity. He currently serves on boards including the Irish US Council, the IOB CIFD Advisory Council, and The City UK Leadership Council. Clive is also a certified investment funds director, reflecting his commitment to governance excellence and professional standards within the investment funds industry.
