Follow Northern Trust Asset Servicing's Insights

Katie Pries is Country Executive for Northern Trust Canada, responsible for overseeing the growth and management of Northern Trust’s asset servicing business in the Canadian market. In this role, she has responsibility for the firm’s Canadian operations and serves as a member of the Canadian Management Committee and Canadian Board.

Katie returned to Canada after spending time in a global corporate role leading Northern Trust’s Financial Crimes Strategy, Project Oversight and Delivery, where she was responsible for advancing the firm’s enterprise-wide financial crimes program. Her work in this capacity strengthened Northern Trust’s global risk and compliance framework and complemented her deep experience in governance and risk management.

Previously, Katie served as President and CEO of Northern Trust Canada, as well as Global Chief Risk Officer for the Corporate and Institutional Services business, inclusive of Northern Trust Canada and Northern Trust Global Services. Earlier in her career, Katie held leadership roles across asset management, client service, and financial reporting.
