Paul G. Hudson brings more than three decades of experience advising individuals, families, and institutions on complex wealth management matters. He specializes in delivering integrated solutions across investment management, trust and estate planning, banking, and philanthropy. Paul leads a highly collaborative approach, working closely with clients and their external advisors—including tax, legal, and insurance professionals — to identify key planning opportunities and implement customized strategies designed to achieve long-term financial goals.
Experience
Paul is a Senior Managing Director and Market Leader for Northern Trust’s Sarasota office, where he oversees all aspects of the business, including client advisory, sales and new business development, and overall office performance. He is responsible for driving growth while ensuring the delivery of holistic, client-centric advice across the region. Paul partners closely with a network of attorneys, CPAs, and other Centers of Influence, and plays a key role in expanding Northern Trust’s presence in Southwest Florida. He also works extensively with not-for-profit organizations and foundations, advising on governance, investment strategy, and philanthropic impact.
Community Involvement
Paul is deeply engaged in Sarasota’s philanthropic and cultural community, serving in numerous leadership roles. These include Trustee and Chair of the Community Foundation of Sarasota County; Trustee and Board Chair of The Ringling (John & Mable Ringling Museum of Art); Trustee and Development Committee Member of the Florida State University Foundation; member of the President’s Advisory Council for Mote Marine Laboratory; and Board Member and Past President of Historic Spanish Point.
