Alex assists high-net-worth individuals and families, business owners, executives and founders design sophisticated wealth strategies to build, sustain and transfer wealth in a tax efficient manner based on their personal goals and priorities.

Experience

Prior to joining Northern Trust Alex was a Senior Wealth Strategist and Director at Union Bank and was responsible for providing planning advice and guidance to the firm’s largest and most complex clients. Before that he managed the Northern California regional wealth planning team at Wells Fargo Private Bank, where he led a group of legal and tax professionals in the provision of comprehensive wealth and financial planning services for high and ultra-high-net-worth families. He counseled wealthy families, business owners, executives and investors on the structure and implementation of estate planning, income and transfer tax planning, charitable giving and business transition strategies.

Community Involvement

Alex is actively involved in various charitable organizations in the San Francisco Bay Area and sits on the board of a private grant making foundation.

Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Washington. Juris Doctor with an emphasis in Tax from the University of Colorado. Master of Laws in Taxation from Georgetown University.
