Steve Schumacher

He has held the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation since 1996. Steve is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Milwaukee.

Experience

Prior to joining Northern Trust, Steve spent 13 years as a portfolio manager with M&I Investment Management Corporation where he provided investment management services for high net-worth individuals, not for profit organizations and corporations. Steve was also a member of the M&I Investment Management New Business Committee and managed a specialized group of portfolio managers. Prior to assuming portfolio management responsibilities at M&I, Steve served in various internal roles including assisting in the investment management process and performing account administration.

Community Involvement

Past volunteer involvement includes Chairing the Annual Fund Campaign at Divine Savior Holy Angels High School, coaching various levels of Little League baseball and softball and volunteering in several capacities at St. Mary’s Parish and School in Menomonee Falls including serving as Trustee. Currently, Steve is a member of the Catholic Professionals Forum of Metro Milwaukee and volunteer member of the Investment Committee for the Archdiocese of Milwaukee.

Education

Steve received his B.B.A. in Finance, with an emphasis in Financial Planning, from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.

Credentials

Steve joined The Northern Trust Company in April 2008, bringing over 16 years of trust and investment management experience to the company.
