Dimitrios Vafeas

Dimitrios uses his over three decades of banking experience to provide customized financing and depository solutions to a diverse portfolio of high-net-worth individuals, families, real estate investors, businesses and institutions, each tailored to help them achieve their goals.

Dimitrios Vafeas is a Senior Vice President, Commercial and Private Banking Relationship Advisor in the Lakewood Ranch, Florida office, as a member of an integrated team of professionals who deliver comprehensive wealth management solutions to their clients. He joined Northern Trust in February 2010. Prior to joining Northern Trust, Dimitrios was a Senior Vice President with Orion Bank in Sarasota from 2006 to 2010, serving as the Commercial and Commercial Real Estate Senior Lender for Sarasota and Manatee Counties. He began his banking career with Sun Trust Bank in 1993 through 2005, which included positions as a Commercial Credit Analyst, Credit Department Manager, and culminating in the position of Senior Vice President, Commercial Banking Team Leader for the South Sarasota County and Charlotte County markets.

He volunteers his time with various local not-for-profit organizations, including Church of the Palms Presbyterian, The Cotillion Club of Sarasota and The Boy Scouts of America.

2010

Dimitrios is a member of the Lakewood Ranch Business Alliance, Bradenton Area Economic Development Corporation, Sarasota Tiger Bay Club and the local chapter of RMA (Risk Management Association). He currently serves as a subject matter expert in the Wealth Management East Region for Franchise Lending.

Dimitrios graduated in 1993 with honors from the University of Florida, College of Business Administration with a B.S.B.A. degree in Finance and a minor in Economics.
