Northern Trust Holds First Charity Trading Day

As part of the company’s global philanthropy strategy, Northern Trust Capital Markets held its first global Charity Trading Day, benefiting global housing nonprofit, Habitat for Humanity International. 

As part of Achieving Greater Together – our signature month of service – the global effort spanned 24 hours of continuous trading and followed the sun across all our Capital Markets trading desks starting in Sydney through Singapore, London and Chicago.

But our commitment goes beyond making a financial contribution. Northern Trust employees and clients have been volunteering through a company program in 2023 to further support the nonprofit’s mission.
