Remy Carpenter

Remy works with UHNW families and leads the fiduciary practice for the Phoenix Region, with a focus on new business, risk management and partner development.

She joined Northern Trust in 2022 and has over 17 years of experience in advanced estate planning. Her experience includes 5 years of private practice in estate planning and tax, prior to working at BMO Private Bank for 9 years as a Senior Trust Administrator and Senior Fiduciary Advisor.

Remy has been a member of the Central Arizona Estate Planning Council since 2008 and served two terms as President from 2018-2020, and is a member of Valley Estate Planners. She is also a member of the Southwest Autism Research & Resource Center (SARRC) Professional Advisory Council. Remy makes her home in North Central Phoenix, with her husband and daughter, Fiona.

Remy received her B.S. in Justice Studies from Arizona State University, a J.D. from the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law at Arizona State university, and an LLM in taxation from the University of Washington School of Law in Seattle.

Remy is a member of the Arizona State Bar, including the Tax Section and Probate and Trust Section, and the Maricopa County Bar Association. She is an Accredited Estate Planner (AEP), a designation issued by the National Association of Estate Planning Councils (NAEPC), and a current Board member of NAEPC.
