John Eder

Based in Austin, John Eder is a Vice President and Senior Estate Administrator for Northern Trust's Estate Settlement Services. John has represented corporate fiduciaries as a death settlement administrator since 2013. Prior to that, John spent almost 6 years as an attorney in South Florida practicing complex bankruptcy and commercial litigation matters.

As a fiduciary, John is responsible for accurately and timely carrying out clients' wishes in their estate plan while complying with state and federal law. John’s extensive experience as an Estate Settlement Administrator allows him to guide co-fiduciaries and beneficiaries through the death settlement process including asset collection, fiduciary tax issues, creditor claims and trust termination. John is known to provide consistent communication, pragmatic solutions to complex problems and the ability to work seamlessly with others in a team-based environment.
