Alexander is a Portfolio Advisor on the Phoenix Wealth Management Team at Northern Trust, where he advises clients from a holistic wealth management perspective. His work focuses on building customized, dynamic, and tax‑efficient investment portfolios aligned with each family’s unique financial situation and goals.
Experience
Prior to joining Northern Trust over a decade ago, he was the West Coast Regional Director for a nonprofit where he consulted with public policy think tanks and college groups to promote educational resources and opportunities on college campuses.
Education & Credentials
Alexander is a graduate with honors from the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and the Certified Private Wealth Advisor® (CPWA®) designation.

Community Involvement
Alexander currently serves on the Board of Trustees of the Desert Botanical Garden and on its Foundation Board, where he helps oversee the Garden’s endowment. He is also a Board of Trustees member for Ronald McDonald House of Central and Northern Arizona, serving as Treasurer. In addition, he is an advisory board member of the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul in Phoenix and a mentor with Boys Hope Girls Hope of Phoenix. A proud graduate of Valley Leadership Class 40, Alexander is also a member of CFA Society Phoenix. His commitment to the community extends to his work with Foster Arizona Housing Project, where he mentors and teaches financial literacy to young adults transitioning out of the foster care system. In 2024, he was honored by the Phoenix Business Journal as a member of its 40 Under 40 class. Alexander is a member of the Arizona Rare Fruit Growers club and is a former wrestling coach at Brophy College Prep in Phoenix.
