Rick Fernandez is a Director with Northern Trust Family Office Solutions. Based in Miami, Florida, Rick collaborates with a team of professionals to deliver to our clients a seamlessly integrated wealth management experience that encompasses both in-house and outsourced family office services. Rick has been with Northern Trust for 24 years and has 30 years of financial services industry experience.
Experience
Prior to joining Northern Trust, Rick held various banking roles with SunTrust. He began his career with PaineWebber, where he was responsible for fixed income sales to institutional clients.
Community Involvement
Rick presently serves on the Board of Directors of South Miami Hospital. He is a former Director of Junior Achievement of Greater Washington and of Hillwood Estate, Museum, & Gardens. He has also held board leadership roles with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Miami, the Miami-Dade College Foundation, and Junior Achievement of Greater Miami. Rick is married with two children, and enjoys golf, cooking, and many of the outdoor activities that South Florida offers.

Rick earned his MBA from the Darden Graduate School of Business at the University of Virginia, and his BBA in Finance from Florida International University.
