Ron Ferrari

With over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, Ron Ferrari brings deep expertise in financial planning, investment management, estate planning, and philanthropic strategies. He specializes in working alongside high-net-worth individuals and families to help them identify, progress toward, and achieve their most meaningful financial and personal goals. Ron’s approach includes assessing client objectives, assembling customized teams, and overseeing the delivery of Northern Trust’s full spectrum of wealth management capabilities.

Ron currently serves as a Senior Wealth Strategist at Northern Trust. Prior to this role, he was a Principal Wealth Advisor, responsible for delivering comprehensive wealth management solutions tailored to clients’ goals and values. Earlier in his career, Ron held the position of Group Director of Sales, where he led the strategic distribution of financial products and services. A former NFL linebacker and Super Bowl XIX Champion with the San Francisco 49ers, Ron brings the same discipline, teamwork, and drive to his work in wealth strategy. Based in San Diego, he is known for his integrity, insight, and unwavering commitment to client success.

Ron is the founding member and current Board Chairman of The Golden Heart Fund, a nonprofit dedicated to providing a model and network of support services for former NFL players. He has also served on the Board of Directors for the YMCA of San Diego County since 2009, holding various leadership roles including Board Chairman, Executive Committee Member, and Investment Committee Member.
