John S. Hantak

John S. Hantak serves as Executive Vice President | President of Texas for Northern Trust’s Wealth Management business, where he is responsible for overseeing offices in Austin, Dallas, Fort Worth and Houston. John leads a team of experienced professionals dedicated to serving high-net-worth clients and families with comprehensive wealth management solutions, including investment management, trust and advisory services, banking, and financial consulting.

Prior to his current role, John was the President of Houston for Northern Trust Wealth Management. He has over 25 years of investments, business development, and leadership experience in the wealth management sector.

John is on the board of directors for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. He has volunteered with the rodeo since 2008 and was elected to the board of directors in 2019. He currently serves on the board’s investment committee, is past Chairman of the Parade Committee and is an active member of the Grand Entry and Mutton Bustin’ Committees. John is on the board of directors as Development Chair of Make-A-Wish Texas Gulf Coast and Louisiana. He is currently serving a three-year term on the board of directors as Vice President and Treasurer of Tejas Vaqueros, Inc. John is also on the board of directors as Vice President and Treasurer of the Vaquero Legacy Preservation Foundation. John is a member of Texas Parks and Wildlife Foundation and a parishioner of St. Cecilia Catholic Church. Outside of work, John enjoys spending time with his wife, Kris, and his two sons, Jack and William.
