Daniel J. Honegger

Dan Honegger serves as Senior Managing Director of Northern Trust’s Private Client Services and Emerging Wealth business for the South Region, leading teams in West Florida, Miami, and Texas. In this role, Dan provides strategic leadership and oversight to multidisciplinary teams of investment, trust, and banking professionals, ensuring the consistent delivery of Northern Trust’s comprehensive wealth management capabilities to high-net-worth families, individuals, business owners, and charitable organizations across the region.

Dan brings more than 30 years of experience in the wealth management industry. Prior to his current role, he served as Market Leader for the Tampa Bay Region. Dan previously served as Senior Vice President and Senior Lending Officer for Northern Trust in Palm Beach and Martin counties and as Vice President and Relationship Manager in Northern Trust’s Chicago office, where he began his career in 1989 as a Financial Analyst.

Deeply committed to the Tampa Bay community, Dan currently serves on the boards or advisory councils of Zoo Tampa (Executive Committee member and past Board Chair), University of Tampa Financial Ambassadors, and Scouting America – Greater Tampa Bay Area (Executive Committee member and Investment Committee Chair). His past board service includes The Salvation Army, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Tampa Bay (Past President), The Community Foundation of Tampa Bay, Tampa Museum of Art, Visit Tampa Bay, and St. Joseph’s Hospital Foundation.

Dan earned a Bachelor of Science from Eastern Illinois University and an M.B.A. from Indiana University.
