David G. Massin

David Massin is a Senior Banking Director and is responsible for overseeing Houston’s banking and lending services. He brings deep expertise in both commercial and private banking, working closely with clients to develop customized financing solutions for complex credit needs. These may include commercial real estate, industrial development, private equity, aircraft financing, life insurance premium finance, and working capital facilities, among others. He leads a team of highly experienced bankers who specialize in tailoring lending solutions to meet the unique needs of each client.

David brings over 35 years of experience in managing the credit needs for high-net-worth clients and businesses. David’s tenure in the banking industry, working with clients in a variety of industries, provides him with a wide range of knowledge and insights to a multitude of lending channels. David has been with The Northern Trust Company for nearly twenty years. Prior to joining Northern Trust, David was the Senior Managing Director of Private Banking for Wells Fargo, N.A in Houston, where he led a team of experienced private bankers supporting the credit needs of affluent clientele. David began his full-time career in banking in 1989 with First Interstate Bank of Texas, N.A., working to restructure high-risk credits.

David currently serves on the Governing Board of Rebuilding Together Houston and on the organization’s Executive Committee in the capacity of Treasurer and Chair of the Finance Committee. He is a prior Governing Director for the Houston Symphony Orchestra (HSO) and continues to serve on the Houston Symphony Wine Dinner and Collectors Auction Committee. David has previously served on a number of Board’s including the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Tejano Center for Community Concerns and as Chairman of the Board for one of State of Texas first charter schools known as the Raul Yzaguirre School for Success.

David has a B.B.S. in Management with a concentration in accounting from Tulane University.
