Barbara McCollum

As President of Northern Trust Wealth Management - Philadelphia, Barb is responsible for leading a team that provides holistic wealth management solutions for individuals and families, privately held businesses, family offices and foundations and endowments. She has expertise in financial planning, wealth transfer, banking, lending, investments, tax and liquidity management, philanthropy and multi-generational family communication. Barb also works very closely with her clients' existing team of advisors and has over 40 years of experience in wealth and asset management.

Prior to joining Northern Trust in 2023, Barb worked at Citi Private Bank for 12 years, where she served as a Managing Director and Regional Market Manager in its Pennsylvania and Delaware regions. Prior to that, she worked at Wilmington Trust Company for 32 years in various client relationship and leadership roles in the Mid Atlantic Wealth Management Division. She is also a member of the Philadelphia and Delaware Estate Planning Councils and held FINRA Series 7 and 66 securities licenses.

Barb supports various not for profit organizations with a focus on children with learning disabilities, housing for the homeless and cancer research.
