Expertise
Michele is a Senior Vice President and Senior Fiduciary Officer on the Wealth Management team, where she is honored to partner with clients and lead the fiduciary team in North Texas. She takes great pride in building trusted, long-term relationships by developing a deep understanding of each client’s unique goals, values, and family dynamics, and by delivering thoughtful, exceptional client service. Michele advises individuals and families on sophisticated estate planning, gifting and wealth transfer strategies, and tax-efficient planning techniques. She is particularly passionate about collaborating with families on governance matters and enjoys engaging and educating the next generation to support meaningful and enduring legacies.
Experience
Prior to joining Northern Trust, Michele practiced law as an attorney specializing in estate and tax planning, trust and estate administration, business law, real estate law, and nonprofit advisory services. This experience provides her with in-depth knowledge of estate and tax planning strategies across all levels of complexity and allows her to serve clients with both technical expertise and a relationship-centered approach.
Community Involvement
Michele is deeply committed to serving the communities in which she lives and works and has an extensive history of nonprofit leadership. Most recently, she served as Treasurer for Treasure Coast Community Health in Indian River County, Florida, and previously served on the Board of Directors for Indian River Habitat for Humanity. Her past board service includes serving as Chair of the Board of Directors for The Florida Center for Early Childhood, NAMI Sarasota and Manatee Counties in Sarasota, Florida, and The Human Development Center in Duluth, Minnesota. In addition, Michele regularly volunteers her time speaking to local groups on estate planning and trusts, including special needs trusts and planning considerations for individuals with disabilities.

Michele earned her Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Behavior, summa cum laude, from the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, Minnesota, and her Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota.
Interests
Michele and her husband, Dennis, have one daughter, Holly, who is a nurse. Michele enjoys spending time with her family and dogs, reading, and traveling.
