Expertise
Ms. Perkins is a Senior Wealth Strategist at The Northern Trust Company in Silicon Valley. She works with business owners, corporate executives, private equity professionals and other successful families providing comprehensive and holistic advice.
Experience
Ms. Perkins has been with Northern Trust for over 19 years and brings over 30 years of investment and leadership experience. Prior to joining Northern Trust, Ms. Perkins was a Vice President of Credit Suisse serving over six years in in New York and San Francisco.
Community Involvement
Ms. Perkins currently serves as Chairman for the American Diabetes Association’s Northern California Community Leadership Board. She leads the Northern Trust cycling team’s Tour de Cure® annual ride. She has also served on the planning committee of the Jerry A. Kasner Estate Planning Symposium since 2008. Ms. Perkins recently served as Vice Chair on the Board of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, Silicon Valley (STEP-SV), an international organization whose mission is to help international families plan their assets across generations. She also is the team parent for her daughter’s high school volleyball team and food organizer for her son’s high school football team, an almost full-time job. Her past activity includes volunteering as a YMCA and National Junior Basketball coach, AYSO soccer coach, Art in Action docent (artinaction.org) and former board member of the UC Davis Graduate School of Management Alumni Board and St. Mary’s College of California Alumni Board.

Ms. Perkins holds an MBA with concentrations in Finance and Accounting from University of California, Davis where she was President of the Associated Students of Management. She earned her undergraduate degree with honors in Economics from Saint Mary’s College of California.
Credentials
Ms. Perkins is a Certified Private Wealth Advisor (CPWA®), which is an advanced designation for financial advisors who work with high-net-worth clients. Her TEP designation represents membership in the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP). She holds the following licensure from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA): Series 7 and 66.
