Mark E. Taylor

As Chief Banking Officer for the central region of our wealth management business Mark oversees both the loan and deposit activities of over fifty bankers. He serves on the central region leadership team, the national banking practice leadership team, the central region credit committee and the national rate setting committee for loans and deposits.

Mark joined Northern Trust in 1998 and has held several positions of increasing responsibility. Mark has held leadership positions in both the commercial lending and the wealth management business at Northern. Previously, he held positions with Credit Suisse First Boston and Bank One.

Mark is a board member and member of the executive committee for The Civic Federation. He is a Leading Corporate Arts Council Member for The Steppenwolf Theatre Company and is an active volunteer for The Nature Conservancy of Illinois.
