Tim is responsible for the development of client relationships, leveraging his background in corporate leadership and M&A to develop wealth management solutions for high-net-worth families, independent business owners, and not-for-profits.
Experience
Tim has extensive experience in corporate finance, primarily in the media and entertainment industries, with responsibilities across operational strategy, corporate development, and financial leadership. Prior to joining Northern, Tim was an advisor to start-ups and early-stage companies, not-for-profits, and several high-net-worth families. For most of his career, he has held dual CFO and operational leadership roles at notable private equity portfolio companies. He started his career at KPMG, working with clients across real estate, media, insurance, banking, and other industries. He also served as a research fellow to one of the Commissioners at the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) in Washington, DC.
Community Involvement
Tim is currently on the Advisory Board of the West Dallas Community School, as well as on the Board of its Foundation; he occasionally supports various non-profits as a financial volunteer. He is an active supporter of The Bren Initiative, a private memorial fund that supports cancer research, eldercare, children’s education, women’s empowerment, and similar causes. Tim previously served on the Museum Council of The Perot Museum and the development board of Baylor University’s Poage legislative library; he has long been active in youth mentoring and various civic engagements.

Tim received his BBA from Baylor and an MBA from SMU, where he was later recognized as a distinguished alumnus of the business school. He completed the investment banking training program with Credit Suisse in New York.
