Expertise
Tim is responsible for the development of client relationships, leveraging his advisory, corporate leadership, and M&A experience to develop wealth management solutions for family-owned businesses, not-for-profits, and high-net worth families to realize their goals.
Experience
Tim brings more than 30 years of corporate finance experience, primarily in the media and entertainment industries, with an emphasis on financial guidance and control, M&A, and corporate development & strategy. Prior to joining Northern, Tim ran an independent advisory, where he provided business planning and corporate finance services to not-for-profits, start-up/early stage companies, and wealthy families and their private businesses and foundations. For most of his career, he has held dual CFO and operational leadership roles at private equity portfolio companies: LiveCo, a diversified live entertainment firm; and Univision Radio, one of the largest U.S. radio concerns. He started his career at KPMG and subsequently held progressive finance roles in financial services and other media firms.
Community Involvement
Tim is currently on the Advisory Board of the West Dallas Community School and is a Finance Volunteer at The Osteosarcoma Institute. He previously served on the Museum Council of The Perot Museum, the Board of Directors of the West Dallas Community School, and the development committee co-Chair of the Poage Library at Baylor. He has long been active in youth mentoring and various civic engagements around Dallas.

Tim has a BBA from Baylor University, and an MBA from Southern Methodist University, where he was recognized as a distinguished alumnus of the business school.
