Jessica T. Donohue is an Executive Vice President and Head of Asset Servicing, Americas. In this role her remit spans the Asset Servicing business in the Americas, directing the bank's strategy, growth and delivery of all firmwide products and services for asset owners and asset managers. Jessica joined Northern Trust in September 2025 as global Head of Product Management for Asset Servicing.

 

Jessica is an industry-recognized innovator with over 25 years of experience in financial services. Before joining Northern Trust, she held senior leadership positions at State Street, including global head for the Asset Owner segment, head of the Global Clients division responsible for State Street's most complex, global and strategic client relationships across the asset manager, asset owner, alternatives, insurance and official institutions segments, and head of Global Investment Insights, Sustainability, and Impact. She also led teams focused on innovation, advisory and information solutions, as well as performance and analytics for institutional and asset manager clients.

 

Jessica holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Minnesota and has held teaching positions at Brandeis University and the University of Minnesota. Her academic research has been published in the International Economic Review, Emerging Markets Review, and Finance Research Letters.

 

She currently serves on several private and nonprofit boards, including Visual1st, the Berklee City Music Advisory Board—which supports educational opportunities for talented youth in underserved communities—and the Advisory Board of the Heller-Hurwicz Economics Institute at the University of Minnesota.
