Tom Kelleher

Tom Kelleher joined Northern Trust in 2023, as the Head of Global Fraud Risk. In his role, Tom is responsible for managing and mitigating fraud risks across Northern Trust. His team owns and maintains the global anti-fraud policy, proactively detects, prevents and investigates anomalous activity and fraud attempts against our clients and the firm, and serves as subject matter experts that provide trusted advisory to leadership and business units about fraud risk management across the institution. Tom has 17 years of experience in financial crimes at several financial institutions. He started his career as a fraud investigator and has since held leadership roles in fraud prevention, investigations, physical security and privacy.

Tom obtained a bachelor's degree from Saint Anslem College and a master's degree from Salem University. He has been a Certified Fraud Examiner, with the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), since 2008 and has served as the Chairman of the Boston Check Fraud Subcommittee.
