Head of Banking

James Due is a Senior Vice President and Head of Banking of Global Family and Private Investment Office Services (GFO). He leads the team that structures strategic credit solutions to address liquidity needs and facilitate articulate balance sheet management.

Prior to his current role, Jim was the Manager of the Not-for-Profit West Division within Northern Trust's Corporate & Institutional Services business, with a specific focus on the healthcare, foundation and higher education market segments. He was responsible for the team that oversees all aspects of the institutional asset servicing and banking relationships. Additionally, prior to that role, Jim was a Division Manager in the Corporate Banking Group and a New Business Development Specialist in the U.S. Institutional Sales Group, where he was responsible for positioning Northern Trust's asset servicing, asset management and other institutional products to targeted large healthcare, foundation and endowment prospects.

Prior to joining Northern Trust in 1996, Jim worked for William Blair & Company and NBD (now JPMorgan Chase) where he was an investment banker and completed the commercial credit training program. Jim graduated from Franklin College with a bachelor's degree, concentration in accounting and received a M.B.A. degree from Butler University.

Jim is a trustee of Franklin College where he chairs the Finance Committee. He has served as trustee for the National Sclerosis Society and is a recipient of the Society's Leadership Award and was a charter board member of the Illinois Medical District Guest House Foundation and the Auxiliary Board of Lyric Opera of Chicago. He is also an advisory trustee of the Tenacre Foundation in Princeton, N.J.
