Expertise
As banking director, Stephanie is responsible for developing and managing the needs of private and commercial banking client relationships and serves on the Northern Trust Missouri Leadership Team. Stephanie is passionate about the many ways Northern Trust partners with clients. Stephanie enjoys diving into spreadsheets and asking important questions to understand each client's individual needs to customize banking solutions that complement their larger overall wealth plan. Stephanie has significant expertise in providing holistic advice to individuals, women, business owners, nonprofits, private equity professionals and corporate executives.
Experience
Stephanie joined Northern Trust in 2016 in Washington, D.C. and now leads the banking team in Missouri. With 25 years of experience working on complex financial and wealth management strategies, Stephanie brings specialized and customizable banking services for affluent individuals and families, private business owners and officers of publicly traded companies. Stephanie has 25 years of experience working on complex financial and wealth management strategies designed specifically for affluent individuals and families, private business owners, officers of publicly traded companies and nonprofits. Most recently, Stephanie worked for Bernstein Global Wealth Management where she served as a Vice President and Financial Advisor. Previously, she held positions in Institutional Equity Sales at Barclays, as well as a Banking and Credit Specialist role at both Charles Schwab and Merrill Lynch.
Community Involvement
Finance Committee for the Foundation Board of Trustees of the St Louis Children’s Hospital, Board Member for the Young Presidents Organization (YPO), Membership Committee for the Association for Corporate Growth(ACG), Women’s Leadership Circle for the Humane Society of Missouri, and past member of the St. Louis Forum, an organization of executive and professional women in St. Louis who have distinguished themselves through significant achievement in their field and contributions to the St. Louis community. Prior to moving to St. Louis, Stephanie served as Treasurer and board member of the Girls on the Run DC Chapter, President of the Darden School of Business DC Alumni Chapter, and a member of Compass, providing pro bono consulting services to nonprofits in Greater Washington, DC. Other notable community work was serving as a member of the Junior League in Houston, Charlottesville, New York City and Washington, DC from 2003 to 2015. This is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.
Education
A native of Houston, Texas, Stephanie earned her bachelor’s degree in biology from Rice University and her Master’s in Business Administration with concentration in finance from the Darden Graduate School of Business at the University of Virginia.
