Dave Fox is President of the Global Family & Private Investment Offices Group, and a member of the Operating Group of The Northern Trust Company. Prior to this role, Dave was Executive Vice President and Head of the Americas, Corporate & Institutional Services, with responsibility for all Northern Trust’s institutional businesses in North & South America. Along with those duties, Dave was Chairman of the Northern Trust Company, Canada, Chairman of the Americas Business Oversight Committee, and the Americas Executive Management Committee.

Dave joined Northern Trust in 2012 after 25+ years at J.P. Morgan in New York and London, where he was Vice Chairman of Investment Banking, a member of the firm’s Investment Banking Management Committee, and CEO of Midwest Investment Banking. Dave’s prior experience at J.P. Morgan included roles as head of investment banking for various global industry sectors (transportation, shipping, industrials, chemicals and real estate). During his career he has advised clients on numerous M&A, restructuring and capital raising activities.

Dave holds a B.S.F.S. from Georgetown University and has an M.B.A. in Finance from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Business. He serves as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the Goodman Theatre. Dave’s previous outside board positions include the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, the Field Museum of Chicago, Ann & Robert Lurie Children’s Hospital, YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago, the Executive’s Club of Chicago, and the Latin School of Chicago. Dave is also a member of the Commercial Club of Chicago.

David C. Albright serves as GFO Head of Client Development. He is also a Member of GFO's Executive Leadership Team and, in January 2016, he was appointed to the Wealth Management business unit's Operating Group. In his current role, Dave oversees all of the Client Development functions for GFO which includes client engagement, new business and marketing.

GFO’s focus is to provide expertise and services to families, family offices, private trust companies and private investment companies who implement comprehensive estate plans, require both institutional and private banking financial solutions, and allocate significant capital to the global markets. Today, GFO is serving more than 400 client relationships who entrust Northern Trust with the care, oversight and administration of more than $325 billion in worldwide assets.

Dave holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Miami University. He is Series 24, 7 and 66 (NASD) licensed and he completed the Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) program at University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business.
